Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

About This Quote

People make friends for many reasons, but when they do, the friendships they form are like new worlds. A friend can be like a new world in your life, one which you never knew existed before. This new world is one with its own set of rules and its own way of doing things, but it also represents a different way of looking at things that were previously unimportant. When you meet someone whose life is different from yours in some way, you develop an understanding of yourself that you could not have developed in any other way.

It is possible that each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive. If so, then meeting them means that this world was created, and so your life has taken on greater meaning.
